Solution 1: Set a simple and small realistic goal

The first thing you need to do is set a realistic goal. What does realism mean? Realistic refers to something that you think is very easy or possible to achieve.

Let's say your goal is to wake up at 5 am. But that doesn't mean you have to wake up at 5am tomorrow. If you wake up at 10 am today, your next goal should be to wake up at 9:45 am the next day.

But if you start getting up at 5am tomorrow instead of 10am, you will fail after a few days, and it will kill your motivation to keep going.

Solution 2: Do something to measure your daily progress

You have to understand that the most effective fuel or source of motivation is success and the biggest enemy of motivation is failure.

So if you want to keep your motivation wheels turning, you have to do it a little bit every day. And this can only happen if you can measure how much progress you are making every day.

And to do that, you have to break down your big goal and break it down into smaller goals for a day and commit to accomplishing them while focusing on that smaller goal.

The moment you achieve this small goal, that achievement will motivate you. This way, you will be able to easily maintain your motivation.

Solution 3: Refill your motivation tank from time to time

Before, you wanted to wake up early every morning, but you didn't have the motivation to do it. After watching this YouTube video, you are instantly inspired.

That means there was something in that post that made you realize why you needed to get up early. Now the reality is that if I told you what I said at the beginning of this post, you would only get 50% of it right.
